I've been heavily leaning towards buying the Sennheiser HD429's.
I have the Razer Carcharius atm, and they're pretty comfortable.
That's funny, I had the Razer Carcharias and I thought they were super comfortable, and they were. I bought them because my friend had purchased them and recommended them. A couple months later his mic broke, which made the headset almost useless. I was a lot more careful with my set, always kept them on my desk and never dropped them. So it lasted about a year and a half, until one day, the speakers stopped working for no reason, the wire that joined the volume control was the problem I believe.
I felt somehow cheated that they would break like that, so I made sure I did some research about my next pair instead of just buying the most popular "gaming headphones" that looked nice.
Music and overall sound quality is most important to me, especially in video games. Audio is more immersive than graphics in most cases so you can see the importance. I read good reviews for Senheiser products, so I got the
Sennheiser PC 350 headset. Ive had it for a while now and I can say the sound quality is amazing. I thought those Carcharias had the best sound, boy was I wrong. The mic sounds crystal clear, it really is amazing how good it sounds. Also, a basic sound card makes a HUGE difference, so I would recommend one, even if it's not the best.
